Slovenia's Biogen initiating production of pellets in Medvedja in spring 2017 – Wood processing facility planned as well

The pellet factory in the municipality of Medvedja, which has not been operational for a long time, should start producing again by the end of the first quarter of 2017.

The president of the municipality, Nebojsa Arsic, talked to representatives of the Slovenian company Biogen about opening a pellet production line and a new wood processing line.

The investors from Slovenia are prepared, as it was said, to honor all previous agreements on the revitalization of the only factory in Medvedja.

Following the meeting, they took a tour of the hall which already contains a pellet production line.

The dynamics of the process preceding the initiation of the production was also agreed at the meeting. As stated, all problems have been removed and the preparations for the production are being carried out. The production is expected to start in the first quarter of 2017.
