(Sombor)
Lots in the industrial zone in southeast part of the city of Sombor have reached the price of over EUR 15 per square meter. There are landowners who even ask EUR 20 per square meter, meaning that the price per hectare amounts to EUR 200,000.
Investors currently show little interest, but landowners are not in a hurry and say they will be patient because, in their opinion, prices can only be higher.
For example, a 1.6-hectare lot in the industrial zone, situated alongside the main route, is offered for sale at the price of EUR 297,000. The price of some other lot, spanning 0.5 hectare, is EUR 80,000. Of course, they are close to a shopping center, electricity, water and gas connections. One hectare of land in the vicinity of the food industry Panonka is for sale for EUR 100,000.
By the way, this is only part of the offer of farmers who sell their land in the industrial zone. While waiting for investors, landowners are cultivating their land and sowing, just like they have been doing for decades.
- I have inherited 1.5 hectares of land from my grandpa and I will cultivate that land until a buyer with a good offer appears - says one of landowners. - When people start investing in the industrial zone, the price of land can only rise.
People at the City Planning Institute say that the surface of the industrial park is 460 ha, 200 ha of which are in private possession.
