The Fourth International Conference on the Real Estate Market of Southeast Europe “Balkans Property Forum 2022” will be held on November 17 in Hotel Hilton Belgrade. More than 150 participants will gather to discuss key issues and look into the latest trends which influence the future of the real estate industry, with a special focus on topics such as the impact of the inflation and the increasing importance of harmonization with ESG (Environment, Social & Governance).

The conference gathers key experts from the sector of real estate, senior economists, bankers and other experts from the industry in order to provide an excellent opportunity for different opinions and experiences to be heard and for the participants to network with all the important players in the real estate industry in the region, the press release says.

Balkans Property Forum 2022 will begin with an introductory speech by Juraj Kotian, the head of the CEE Macro and Fixed Income Research department at Erste Bank for Central and Eastern Europe. He will provide a detailed economic overview for the whole Europe and the Southeast Europe region, emphasizing the bank’s prognoses for important indicators such as inflation, interest rates and GDP growth.

The first panel discussion will focus on strategies of investments and financing, which are under pressure due to the growing interest rates, whereas the second panel discussion will look into strategies of environmental protection, society and management. As these factors play an increasingly important role in the decision-making processes in companies, the leading investors and investors in real estate from Serbia and the region will discuss their sustainable growth plans.

The second key topic of the conference are the possibilities and challenges that the investors face in the field of real estate in Belgrade. The biggest companies that are active in the construction of residential, office and retail facilities will share their experiences and best practices.

At the end of the conference, as announced, there will also be talk about the topic that has been discussed the most in the past two years, which is remote work, that is, working from a home office. COVID-19 has made workplace strategies flexible, enabling work from several locations. All this has led to a change in the market of office solutions, so in the final panel discussion, workplace experts will share their experiences and visions of remote work in the future.
