The City of Loznica has opened the tender for the preparation of the detailed regulation plan of the new industrial zone North (“Sever”).

The draft decision on the preparation of the DRP for the industrial zone North was determined at the session of the City Council of Loznica at the end of July.

According to the mayor of Loznica, Vidoje Petrovic, the preparation of the DRP of the new, modern industrial zone North, is necessary primarily due to the requests of local and foreign investors for increasingly large spatial capacities to the end of building production facilities, among which, as he said, will also be the new facilities of the Chinese company Minth, which plans to further develop its operations in Loznica.

At the session, it was explained that the DRP encompasses a thorough and detailed planning development of space, traffic and infrastructure systems and development of the future industrial zone as a space located in one of the most important development areas in Loznica.

The planning basis for the preparation of the DRP is the General Regulation Plan for the populated area of Loznica, whereby this space is set for a construction area, and the planned dominant purpose is secondary production and an additional purpose of tertiary activities, as well as housing along the office and industrial zones, as announced on the website of the City of Loznica.

The deadline for the offers for the preparation of the DRP is August 30.

Let us remind that the Chinese company Minth Automotive already produces aluminum car parts in Loznica.
