The President of “Airport City”, Gili Dekel, said at the meeting with the representatives of the city of Belgrade that, in spite of the global economic crisis, this company wanted to resume construction of business facilities in Belgrade, and he added that the company was also interested in investments in residential construction.
"Airport City" complex, with 80,000 square meters that have been developed so far, represents the largest office space complex in the Balkan, and the volume of investments has reached 200m EUR. So far, seven out of total of 14 buildings have been built.
Dekel pointed to great cooperation with the city and greeted introduction of the new law on planning and construction, which should accelerate drawing of plans and shorten the procedure for issuing of building permits. He suggested that the special department for large investors should be opened, which would make the operations easier, accelerate realization of investments and creation of new jobs.
