Novatronic LED displays in 200 Solaris buses destined for Belgrade

Company Novatronic from Novi Sad successfully agreed to equip 200 buses of Polish producer Solaris with electronic LED displays – systems for passenger information. The buses are destined for City public transportation company GSP Belgrade. The contract for this project was signed on 18th of April, 2013. to the mutual satisfaction of both sides. The production started immediately after the contract signing and the first smaller delivery is planned for the end of this month, also for every following month two deliveries are planned.

In the competition for this big project Novatronic has overcome renowned European manufacturers of displays and demonstrated it can meet all the standards that are required for operating in demanding European markets. According to sources from Solaris, Novatronic is the only supplier from the region that is involved in this important project.

From the cooperation established with Solaris, Novatronic is expecting breakthrough to foreign markets in which it is not currently present. This huge success for Novatronic is a new confirmation of quality of products and the work methods in this company, as well as announcement of new business successes. Along with the beginning of this project the delivery of equipment for 32 articulated buses manufactured by Ikarbus was completed, the production of vehicle displays and bus stop displays for City public transportation company JP Subotica-trans and also we have received new orders for our projects in Prague and Szeged.

Earlier, Novatronic has clearly positioned in City transport in Prague (DPP), Budapest (VolanBusz) and Szeged (SZKT) and in the region, besides the cities in Serbia, Novatronic is present in Pula, Split, Osijek and Sarajevo. Soon the deliveries for Slovenian Railways are expected. Novatronic will, with its exhibition at CityBus fair in Moscow, in late May start its business in Russia.
