Investor from Egypt to Commence Production of Plywood in Mali Zvornik – Employment of 100 Workers Planned for Next Two Years
According to the official website of the municipality, the company has been given a space to use in the industrial zone by the municipality for these purposes, under favorable conditions, and in turn, it has obliged to employ 100 workers in the facility in the next two years.
The agreement between the municipality of Mali Zvornik and the investor on the lease of space for the operations of the plywood factory was signed by the president of the municipality, Zoran Jevtic, and the head of Egypt Plywood, Mohamed Elsaid Ahmed Aboulabhan.
– This way, the municipality of Mali Zvornik rented around 2,200 m2 of business space, 1,611 m2 of paved parking spaces and 1,044 m2 of space for other purposes, as well as a part of a substation of 500 kW, to Venera Gold, which is registered in Serbia as the legal representative of said company from Egypt, with the obligation of paying a monthly fee, employing 100 workers in the next two years and expanding the capacities – Lj. The president of the municipality, Zoran Jevtic, said that it had been agreed with the investor for the factory to initially employ 35 workers in the first shift and to introduce the second shift as soon as possible and hire another 35 workers, whereas the remaining 30 should be employed by the expiration of the agreed deadline period of 2 years.
The representative of the investor, Mohamed Elsaid Ahmed Aboulabhan, said on that occasion that he hoped for successful operations in Mali Zvornik and that the company would manage to expand its business and commence the production of plywood in a timely fashion.
