Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS) has published the tender for expert support for the perspective of development of new chemicals.

According to the technical task, the aim of the procurement is expert support in the process of examining the composition of all classes of reagents used in the oil industry (salt accumulation inhibitors, corrosion inhibitors, chemicals for the improvement of flowability, deparaffinization products, de-emulsifiers etc.), as well as the examination of the market of available components of chemicals, which will enable the determining of the perspective for the development of chemicals with the help of the technological resources of NIS.

– The possibility of production of own reagents is of great importance and is a current task, considering the potential problems with the import of foreign chemicals which could arise in the coming period. In addition to that, the development of own chemicals will enable another form of the expansion of the activities of NIS in the third market – the tendering documentation emphasizes.

The classes of compounds that the testing needs to encompass are inhibitors of limescale, corrosion and paraffin/chemicals for lowering the pour point, dissolvers of organic accumulations (ASPN), de-emulsifiers and bactericides.
