The counters of the Republic Geodetic Authority (RGA) are open for citizens and they can submit requests and land register services, which have been re-included in the system and put into operation.
Clients can submit requests at a total of 23 land register services, which include all 17 Belgrade municipalities, as well as the services in Nis, Kragujevac, Pozarevac and three services in Novi Sad. By putting said services into operation, a third of the citizens of Serbia have been enabled to directly submit requests in line with the law.
– From today, the services of eAppointments (eZakazivanje) and eComplaints (ePrimedbe) are also available to users. Through the eZakazivanje service, citizens can make an appointment for submitting the request and for waiving the right of complaint, at the services which have been put into operation. Making an appointment with a land register official is not possible until all the security risk and threats to legal security are removed – the RGA announced.
In the coming days, the plan is to put into operation the other land register services at full capacity as well.
According to earlier announcements, it has been determined that a virus with characteristics of a smart virus entered the RGA system on May 24 and that it was activated on June 15.
In order to prevent potential data misuse, the RGA locked the entire information system. The closing of the land register meant that real estate transactions and the issuing of permits could no longer be done in practice.
Electronic land registers were first opened for ministries, notaries and local self-governments, and now the time has come for counters for citizens.
