Bratoljub Border Checkpoint and Bridge Operational – Common Location of Customs and Police Organs, First in the Region
The construction of Bratoljub, whose length is 227 meters, lasted between October 2015 and May 2017 and cost EUR 13 million. The works were financed entirely by Serbia.
The Government of Republika Srpska financed the construction of the access road to the border checkpoint near Bratoljub.
The new border checkpoint will be a common location for the customs and police organs of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the first of its kind in the region.
This will be the first-grade international border checkpoint for the allowed traffic of goods that are subject to inspection supervision.
The checkpoint has three entry and three exit lanes and a bicycle lane.
