Pancevo to Get New Industrial Zone – Greenfield Investments Planned on 91 ha
– The north industrial zone should become a new production complex of the social-economic development of the city of Pancevo, that is, a generator of economic growth – the plan says.
The construction of all types of production and business facilities which belong to the category of small and medium enterprises, and the construction of all types of facilities with purposes which will not have a negative impact to the direct and the wider environment are planned.
Within the areas of other purposes, between various production/business facilities, protective greenery is to be set up. The parcels should be protected from wind, excessive sunlight, traffic pollution impact etc.
In this area, there are currently several facilities built on privately-owned parcels. The terrain also features unpaved farm roads, and there are also canals along the south and southeast parts of the area covered by the plan. In addition to facilities of utility infrastructure network, there are no other public features in the area covered.
In order to meet the traffic needs of the settlement, a traffic network is planned, with adequate capacities, such as will secure a safe, efficient and rational functioning of the traffic system in this part of the settlement.
The drafting authority is the PE Urbanizam Pancevo, and the early public review lasts for the next 15 days.
