Tourist Magazine Witrip Pronounces Serbia One of the Most Popular Overseas Destinations

According to the Chinese tourist magazine Witrip, Serbia is one of the most popular overseas destinations.

The acknowledgement, whereby Serbia is recommended to passengers who are interested in cultural content and leisure, was awarded last week at an official live ceremony, held in China before several hundred participants from the world of tourism, as announced on the website of the Tourism Organization of Serbia (TOS).

This way, Serbia joined the company of Thailand, Fiji, Tahiti, the Philippines, Turkey, Malaysia and Japan. All those destinations, according to the estimate of this prestigious magazine, confirm the slogan of Witrip, which says that travel makes the world a different place.

– This kind of acknowledgement indicates that, after the COVID-19 crisis ends, Serbia will once again be able to count on a great interest from tourists from China. Even before the appearance of coronavirus, Serbia was among the ten most demanded destinations for tourists from this market, which is a very important emitting market. Among other things, this was shown through the number of the Chinese tourists, which were the most numerous when it comes to arrivals before the pandemic, in 2019 – it was said.
