Consulate of Austria to Open in Novi Sad – Zoran Tadic Named Honorary Consul

The acting assistant minister of foreign affairs of Serbia, Vera Vukicevic, has handed over the exequatur to the honorary consul of Austria in Serbia, Zoran Tadic. The ceremony was attended by the ambassador of Austria to Serbia, Nikolaus Lutterotti.

The official opening and the beginning of the operations of the consulate, with authority in the territory of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, is expected in the upcoming weeks. The consulate will contribute to the development of the bilateral cooperation between the two countries, especially in the domains of the economy, culture and science. The seat of the consulate will be located at 27b Partizanska Street in Novi Sad.

Honorary Consul Zoran Tadic is the director of the well-known Novi Sad-based company Neofyton, which represents the leading world companies in the plastic industry, and their most important partner is the Austrian company Engel. Neofyton and Tadic have been cooperating successfully for years with the Austrian Economic Chamber in Serbia and Nigeria, and Tadic is also a member of the board for cooperation of science and economy at the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (CCIS).
