In response to the increased demand in passenger air traffic between Serbia and Montenegro, Air Serbia has increased travel capacities between the two countries by introducing additional flights and changing the aircraft type operating the lines to Tivat and Podgorica.

As the Serbian company announced, in the period between January 17 and 30, the national airline carrier introduces three additional flights to Tivat and changes the aircraft type on the three existing ones to Podgorica.

The planned turboprop ATR is replaced with the jet Airbus A319, whereas the two planned Airbus A319 types are replaced with Airbus A320 with a larger number of seats.

– We remain dedicated to the Montenegrin market and we continue following the development of the situation, adapting the scope of our transport services to the changing demand. Our aim is to maintain a continuous and strong air connection between cities in the region and enable all passengers to travel to their desired destinations without an obstacle – said Jiri Marek, General Manager, Commercial and Strategy, Air Serbia.

The capacities of the national airline carrier have been increased on flights to Podgorica scheduled for January 17, 19 and 24, whereas the additional flights to Tivat are scheduled for January 23, 27 and 30.
