The Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (CCIS) believes that there's room for the state to once again help certain sectors of the economy in case the measures of prevention of the spreading of coronavirus are made stricter, thereby hampering the business operations.

The CCIS thereby responded to Tanjug's question about whether they are having negotiations with representatives of the state about a potential new economy stimulus package, considering that it has been announced that said measures could tighten.

However, the CCIS points out that it understands the limitation of the further systemic budget support, considering the necessity of preserving the macroeconomic stability as the basis of the business environment in the country, but that they still expect help in case the situation worsens.
