Srbija Voz to Get New Information System for Company Resource Management and Modernize Sales Network

The company Srbija Voz has announced that it intends to use a part of the proceeds from the loan of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for the realization of the project “New Information System for Company Resource Management and Planning, Modernization of Sales Network and Energy Efficiency Management”.

The tendering procedure for this project has opened, envisaging a full replacement of the existing information system, inherited from the Serbian Railways, upgrade of the system's functionality and introduction of material and maintenance management.

Also, the plan is to procure mobile terminals and automatic devices and to configure computers to enhance the potential of ticket sales.

The project also entails the installation of devices measuring energy consumption in the trains, which will help in devising the measures of energy saving.

Srbija Voz expects the realization of the contract to start in mid-December 2020 and to take two years.
