Innovative Disinfection Booth Designed by Serbian Company Set Up in Front of Cair Hall in Nis

A booth which disinfects, in a few seconds, medical workers and patients when entering and exiting the temporary hospital, as the creators of the prototype say, has been installed in front of the Cair Hall in Nis, where coronavirus patients are currently being treated.

The booth is one of the winners at the contest organized by the Innovation Fund in an effort to contribute to the suppression of the COVID-19 pandemic, and it was designed by the Serbian company 365ADS.

As the company says, the first booth, installed in front of the Cair Hall, is fully automated and has room for two users.

– It is adapted for a full body disinfection when entering the hall and decontamination when exiting the hall in just a few seconds. In order to reduce the risk of coronavirus infections, the processes in the cabin are online controlled and require no technical support in the field – the company says.

They say that this is just one of the versions of the cabins which are to be set up, in cooperation with the Government of Serbia, in other state and health institutions as well.
