“Serbia Creates” is the name of the new platform launched by the Creative Industries Council of the Serbian prime minister, aiming to promote our scientists and artists in the world. It officially began by displaying photographs of the so-called creative ambassadors at Serbia's consulate in Zurich.

A young actor and one of Serbia's most renowned surgeons now have a new role. From now on, they are also Serbia's creative ambassadors.

– This is an honor, especially since it puts focus on creativity and art, areas in which Serbia has a great advantage, because it is full of talented young people – says actor Milos Bikovic.

The other creative ambassador is Miroslav Djordjevic, a surgeon who has performed over two thousand sex reassignment procedures.

– Very few people are active in this field, not just in Serbia. Why am I where I am? Perhaps due to hard work which can never stop and the energy, which needs to come first – points out Miroslav Djordjevic.

The General Consul of Serbia in Zurich, Zoran Jeremic, says that they are proud that there is a good presentation of people from Serbia.

– We've turned an interesting page – Jeremic added.

This page features 12 ambassadors from the fields of design, music, film, entertainment, new technologies and science. Official and creative representatives agree on what the goal is.

– Unfortunately, we are still seen in the light of the recent history, which is not so great, but Serbia has great scientists and business people and plenty of qualities we want to present to the world through the “Serbia Creates” campaign and we are extremely proud that BioSense is a part of it – emphasizes Vesna Bengin of the BioSense Institute.

It began in Zurich and will soon spread across the globe. The same photographs will be displayed in all diplomatic representations of Serbia.
