Serbia and Tunis sign agreement on support and protection of investments

Inter-governmental agreement between Serbia and Tunis on supporting and protection of investments should be signed in the next months, it is the conclusion of today’s conversation between the minister of trade tourism and telecommunications, Rasim Ljajic, with the ambassador of Tunis in Serbia Mohamed Bugamra.


As announced from the cabinet of minister Ljajic, two officials have talked today in Belgrade about development of economic and trading relations between two countries.

Ljajic and ambassador Bugamra agreed that in the next months it is necessary to sign inter-governmental agreement on supporting and protection of investments in order to develop economic cooperation between Serbia and Tunis.

As estimated, this kind of an agreement, with existing inter-governmental agreements and achieved level of good political relations, would significantly contribute to intensified cooperation in construction, agriculture, pharmaceutical industry and tourism where there is plenty of room for further development.

Ambassador Bugamra announced that Tunis will participate at the upcoming International fair of tourism in Belgrade from February 18 to 21 as well as that then Tunisian minister of tourism will visit Serbia.
